Program Manager - Day Program - I/DD

JOB SUMMARY:
The Day Program Manager will provide supervision of vocational skill trainers, general program oversight, and ensure regulatory compliance with state guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides oversight and performs duties in the areas of: staff supervision, operational administration, program management, therapeutic intervention, teaching skills, and documentation.
- Assists in the development, training and implementation of Individual Support Plans, Behavior Plans, and/or Treatment Plan development.
- Responsible for providing daily structure and coverage to the program, which includes supervision and assistance with living skills, personal care needs, case management, auditing medication, transportation service, crisis intervention, recreational and social activities.
- Communicates all significant behavioral changes in behavior level and notable incidents to the designated supervisory personnel.
- Acts as liaison and advocates for community resources.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment, monitoring and overseeing program compliance, adhering to all safety standards and regulations, Federal and State regulations and Agency and Corporate policies.
- Ensures that services are rendered according to SERV Achievement Centers’ mission and SERV BHS’ ethical standards.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with behavior-oriented programming applied in a variety of settings preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license issued in the current state of residence.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Must meet one of the education and experience requirements listed below;
- Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in the field.
- Associate's degree with three years of experience in the field.
- High school diploma with four years of experience in the field.
- $25.95 per hour based on education and experience.
